At least he knows what happened to it. Every once in a while there’s a story on the news about some poor person who donated a purse or something that contained valuable jewelry that had been hidden there and forgotten about, and by the time they realize it, it’s too late. That’s why I never donate anything without thoroughly checking every pocket.
