Use to have a big metal disk with hand rails around the outside that you would hang on to while folks on the outside would get it spinning as fast as they could on just about every playground. Bill Cosby even use to talk about it in his acts. We even had Monkeybars/Junglegyms make from steel pipes too.

I once got spun on a merry-go-round so fast, that I got flung off of it a few feet in the air and scraped myself up real bad
