The days of the week are named after the gods/planets. A planet was anything which moved across the sky, starting with the brightest: Sun day, moon day, Mars day or Tyr day, Wodan, Odin or Mercury day, Thor day, Frigg or Venus day, Saturn day.
OK…………Friday, Monday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday Tuesday, Wednesday…………Kinda easy when you have to type it out.
