Hey Atma if you’re out there he’s a chance to rip Monsanto.

For those of you who don’t know what GMO means its Genetically Modified Organism or more precisely Franken Foods like genetically modified corn that produces its own herbicide. These crops have NOT been evaluated by the FDA so there’s no telling what these things do to humans who consume these things.

Also it should be noted that Monsanto basically has a monopoly over these seeds that produce crops. They are especially prevalent in poor countries like Africa and Central America.

“Why worry about this if these things are in some third world country?”

Cause we import some of our food from these places and guess where it ends up?

Corn or poatoes who make their own pesticides…

They cam on the market because bugs got resistant to regular pesticides…

Trouble is, the same bugs are getting resistant to built-in GMO pesticides.

^^I’ve read a case study in one of my Business Ethics books that proves your point. In it the bees and other insects go to these plants, take the pollen, and go down the neighboring field and fertilize the non-gmo plants. Its quite a problem.

Also the round up herbicide that these things produce gets washed off the plants and makes its way into rivers, killing the tadpole population. When I get the chance I’ll look up the school that conducted that study.
