Rat was risking his life. I know birds can regurgitate, they do it to feed baby birds, but rats can’t. They can’t upchuck or burp. Never let a pet rat drink soda pop, it will make them uncomfortable. They can fart, but that takes a while. That is so they are picky about What they eat. If they eat poison it’s all over for them.
