At least the NFL pays its players commensurately with what they make off of them. College football is BIG business, and what do the players get? Banned, if they have contact with a sports agent. Banned if they accept any gratuities from a booster or an alumnus. And the university can be put on probation and have scholarships taken away even if they don’t know about the contact.
