In the time before he was held accountable for watergate, many Nixon supporters held their heads in the sand. The drumbeat for impeachment continued a little while before it happened, but eventually Nixon knew he had to resign or face impeachment.

Nixon was on the verge of impeachment, the senate watergate hearings had happened, the House of Representatives impeachment hearings were happening and then Nixon resigned instead. Nixon could have faced prison for obstruction of justice but was controversially pardoned. In 2017, we have part deux. It has begun and it is deja vu all over again, as the late yogi Berra would say…

All this negativity going on now against Trump reminds me of the negative campaign that Hillary ran. And what did that get her, nothing, she lost the election.

Russia is definitely not our friend either. We can’t get in bed with Russia. Putin is a cold blooded killer, who has his political opponents killed. There is such a thing as The West, and Russia is not part of that. Other countries know this.
