June’s admonition doesn’t make any sense. Aprons are made to become messy. That’s what they’re for.
Anyway, it’s nice to be reassured that Ralph has shirts other than that Hawaiian one we always see him wear…!
Anyway, why should June worry? If the apron becomes messy, just wash it.
A joke is no good if you have to explain it. This is a good (not great) joke that stands on its own, so why explain it?
She would know since she wears an apron everyday and I have yet to ever see it stained or discolored.
