I am puzzled by the ‘toon. I thought an arrangement had been reached whereby new elections would be held before end of 2017 and Joseph Kabila would NOT seek a 3rd term (giving him plenty of time to wrap up his thieving enterprises). It was well known that Kabila had been wooing Museveni and Kagame’s support last year but the DRC’s opposition parties had managed to wrangle a new deal…what have I missed? Bloody Brexit, occupying me full-time.
