A statement from Cornelius Hackenbush, president, Drive-In Zealots of America: While we realize that this strip was drawn nearly twenty years ago, it should be pointed out to modern audiences that ozoners once showed top-rated films. Once upon a time, going to the drive-in was an event, a family affair that was enjoyable for all. And thanks to the virus, drive-ins are enjoying a major comeback as indoor theaters remain shuttered. So, drive-ins are no longer the home of truly crappy movies not worth even trying to distribute to indoor theaters. Ironically, for the last twenty years, straight to DVD has become the new standard for the “low bar.” You’re welcome.

Morning, Anniephans!
She probably remembers it better than any other film she ever made.
