Too bad he doesn’t have any satellite blinding missiles. He knew they would come above and he located using his LIDAR and have done so. One in geosynchronous orbit now over his general position. His whole submarine’s design forms a bubble around it for maximum speed. He just never got around to the torpedoes. He is using his wireless attack upon the US ship. He really doesn’t know much about the ships. He has had his primitive electronic brain working out and classifying the frequencies that are out there. His phosphor screen is certainly as advanced as the first ones built in this world.But it is mostly unknown till he gains more intelligence on them.
He shoots the noise maker decoy and immediately shuts down and waits as the two Navy and one other rumble by, maybe Russian, travel over him. He will wait for several hours then move off on silent. After that he will surface and switch to hydrofoil mode and travel the rest of the way to his island and see his castle once again.
