Growing up in MI, you could always tell the minute the temperature hit 0.. your nose hairs would freeze. Anyone who’s experienced it knows what I mean. :)

Being a duck hunter from the old days, ( when men were men and women were too) I have had ice in my mustache. A mixture of water vapor, and “drainage”. I loved duck hunting, but on days like that, the best thing about it was when the hunt was over.

Sue, yes, and men with beards get “ice” in their mustache….At least most of it is ice anyway…..Whiteheron puts it delicately…. “Drainage….”

Well, if you don’t like comments about frozen noses, don’t click on this Calvin and Hobbes. As usual, Watterson beat Mallett to it (though from the looks of it today’s strip is a loving tribute): www.gocomics.com/calvinandhobbes/2009/03/20
