Baldo by Hector D. Cantú and Carlos Castellanos for January 01, 2017
Transcript:
Tia: We must begin the new year with a clean house! Tia: So everyone grab a sponge and start scrubbing.... Tia: And when you're done, rinse out your sponge in this bucket... Tia: And then we'll throw the dirty water out the window... to get rid of last years's unpleasantries. Baldo:But there are only 3 sponges! Tia: Yes.... Tia: I found that being the only housecleaner last year was very unpleasant.

Even in 2017, Carmen needs a break.

Ah, if only that would stand a ghost of a chance with my family. I’m currently so depressed that I’ve been mostly non-functional for the past three or four days and NOTHING has gotten done (aside from the little I’ve managed) in my home. That’s one of the reasons why suicide is not even an option for me. First, it would be too much effort to even plan to kill myself, and second, my family can’t even find a clean cup without me. They’d never survive.

Can’t blame Tia Carmen for this. Happy New Year, everyone!

I’m the only one in my family who can see dirt. How will this family know where to clean? They have no idea what to scrub.

@cutiepie29 figure out what a funeral would cost them. Then take part of that and go away for a few days or a week, someplace where you will be pampered and they will need to figure out how to make do. Leave a note saying this is your suicide test run, that it is cheaper than a real one. Cruise, spa, weekend in city with shows and museums, beach in Florida. Whatever. I know you don’t have the $ but there isn’t any for the funeral and this is a lot cheaper.

Well, there’s always carfentanil. Everyone seems to be using it at least once.
