Yeah Abby, let’s have this discussion after we eat. I read somewhere that Jews say grace after the meal rather than before. Maybe they want to eat their food hot. I think it’s a good idea. I’ve known people to sanctimoniously pray for 10 minutes while the food gets cold. I think it shows a lack of respect for those who worked hard to prepare it.
