The “former Soviet Union” has a lot more Muslims than the U.S., in fact, Russia does– don’t see the “worry” in this portrayal, or the paranoid reaction of America’s right wing.
Now if we talk true “freedom of, and from religion” that’s what the Constitution calls for.
For some reasons, after thirteen centuries, Islam hasn’t conquered the whole World and even lost territory (notably Spain). For some reason, I doubt it has the ressources to conquer now what it couldn’t conquer long ago.
The first mosque in America was built before America was even the USA (around 1731). We’ve managed to hang on to our Constitutional laws for a good while now.
