I was that same kind of smartass in high school. I was forced to take geometry (my brain doesn’t work that way). Teacher: “Prove these two triangles are identical.” Me: “I cut one out and placed it on top of the other. Identical.” I got a D- only because the teacher realized that failing me was also failing herself. She really wasn’t a good teacher.
