It’s a strange thing we do: saving skeletons. Actually, I never gave it much thought, since it’s our custom, until I started reading L.E. Modesitt Jr’s “Imager” series.

Poor Verne. I’m not sure he has the nerves for OTH. He needs someplace quieter. He’d do well in Barkeater Lake.
