    As a military brat there were a few times I was the “new kid” in the middle of a school year. Come lunchtime I would look for the table with the fewest amount of kids and the ones that looked shy and quiet. I stayed away from the rowdier, crowded tables. That served me well for years! All of my friends were well behaved, got average to decent grades, and collectively, we stayed out of trouble. Miss those days!
