Where does Danziger get the idea that there’s never going to be a crackpot pulling a stunt like this in a free society of 320 million people with near-unfettered access to weapons?.Keep your wits about you, be as vigilant as you can and life goes on. What other choice is there?
Blowing up a dumpster isn’t exactly Tim McViegh success, and is cause for concern, but not nationwide panic and fear. We need to evaluate threats rationally, and act, not let a few nuts win by bringing the nation to a halt. BTW they already caught the NJ and NY “suspects”. Hmm, CCTV we all fear the omnipresence of, led to the arrest. When is “security” the real threat, and who monitors the monitors??
Look at the New York footage a few more times and you will realize something you missed at first. There was a bomb blast and most of the people ran away.
MOST of the people, but some regular old Americans ran toward the blast to render aid. Not First Responders, not trained experts— Just Americans being Americans and moving to help, even it means putting themselves in danger.
Ask yourself: Are you going to run for safety or run to give help?

Thanks to its First Responder’s bravery, and the resolve of New York’s citizens. We love you guys, and we’re behind you a 100%, signed, America.
