Jefferson authored the Declaration of Independence.Lincoln was responsible for the end of slavery in the US.Roosevelt contributed to business, conservation and created the Panama Canal.The NRA has blocked research on gun violence for the past 20-years. Keeping a gun in the home increases the risk of homicide by family member or intimate acquaintance. But there is a small faction who worship the gun and put it above concepts like Democracy, Freedom, Liberty and Justice.
Sueamerlicun: they’re well aware of how well we do at killing ourselves with all those guns, they don’t even need to invade. If they did, given the examples of “The Armed Citizen” columns in NRA publications, the gun nuts would wipe out at least 40 % of our population if they just threatened us with a blimp attack.
