Uncle Sam with a bag over his head – not only does he not want to look anymore, but he’s drawn a smile to let everyone know he’s hap-hap-happy with the choices he has made. So what is wrong? The US has made its choice and now has Brexit-esque remorse, but would it be any different if there was a re-do? Could we come up with better nominees? Would we vote any different?
Billsarar: maybe not equal time under the existing rules, I’d prefer we had the equal time rule back, but Greens, Libertarians and others SHOULD GET at least some coverage in every broadcast that gives to the “big two”.
This also points to why “Citizens United” was such a terrible, and unconstitutional decision.
Other “parties” that may not qualify for debate access should get some expression as well, for FREE, just like the billions of dollars in FREE COVERAGE Trump has received.
Trump has never betrayed his country’s secrets, lied to us directly, sold influence to foreign governments, or gotten any of his employees killed. Easy call.
