If Texas truly wanted to reduce the number of abortions, they would do everything they could to get people to use birth control. They would make sure everyone was educated about methods and had access to whatever they needed.
They do not.
Maybe they have something different in mind. Like maybe trying to control people’s sex lives.Especially, you know, Those People.And maybe punishing sinners. Especially, you know, Those People.
Wouldn’t make any difference. As long as life is considered disposable, people will still kill the unborn rather live responsibly and not get into the position where they have to decide to do something this horrible. It is not about punishing the sinner as you put it, it is about protecting the innocent. Difficult concept for some I realize, but that is what it boils down to for me.
Picture a gun store in the center of the maze. If you would like your unenumerated rights respected, you may have to respect the enumerated constitutional rights of others.
“These walls paid for with your tax dollars”. And people laugh at Trump for saying he’d make the Mexicans pay for a wall at the border. He’s just following the lead of the anti-abortion gang.
