I have to admit to being more than a bit curmudgeonly when it comes to parents posting pictures etc of their kids on social media… as entertainment. I’m glad I grew up before the social media age – and it’s hard to imagine my parents doing stuff like that anyway.
I do recall them inviting a few close friends over to see slides of the latest vacation etc though… a carousel or two or three’s worth of slides… so who knows?

Just because the camp has a rule about cell phones, it would not stop a few of them from smuggling one in.

When I was in the army, and we were camping, about sleeping time, I saw a sergeant lyuing on a bench we had taken with us. I asked him, Sir is anything wrong, anything I can do for you?He said, no please leave me alone. I learnt from his colleagues he had found a scorpion under his pillow so the “brave” sergeant decided to spend his night on the bench…
