habfan40Other than fish, which are small enough to swallow whole and alive, all crocodilians kill their food by drowning. They have great holding, but poor chewing, ability and there is less of a fight that way.
As a kid got a pet Cayman, he lived to reach six feet in length, but got caught out in some really cold weather and croaked. It was amusing one day when we got a new meter reader who didn’t know about Gus until Gus hissed at him. Scared s***less he was, indeed.
