It wasn’t ISIL, it was a nut. (Realizing little difference there.) La Pierre is the bigger nut however. Simply limiting the magazine capacity of centerfire rifles and pistols could definitely reduce violence, and not just in these mass shootings. Taking high capacity weapons away from “gang bangers” would reduce collateral damage. And, stop going “only criminals have guns”. Auto registration and driver licensing doesn’t stop all the carnage, no, but it greatly reduces same as opposed to NOT regulating. We need to start with firearms.

Only trouble with the strip, it fails to look at all the terrorist attacks in Europe. Europe has very strict gun laws and as usual gun laws did not nor will not stop a terrorist from obtaining or manufacturing the tools of his trade. Hopefully Mr. Wuerker’s next strip will thank our laws that prevented the FBI from wrapping up this Idiot even though they interviewed him multiple times.
