Shame on this comic for portraying Trans as perverted. Mr. Clay Jones may be attempting to mock Cruz, but he obviously has an issue with Trans-genders. This is awful!
Conservatives see transgenders as perverts.Conservatives see child molesters as perverts.Conservatives conflate the two as the same..Except child molesters do not care which bathroom they go into.
Interesting detail for the geeks only: This cartoon wasn’t drawn on paper with ink which is how they’re usually created. It was drawn on a tablet with a stylus, while I was sitting in a bar watching hockey.
I have a simple solution: Take down ALL the Men and Women bathroom signs… simple, problem solved!
Next….let BOTH sexes dress in same dressing rooms and locker rooms…. Why not? Can anybody tell me WHY they put up those signs in the first place? Anybody?
The Tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab A. I got the 9.7 screen with the stylus. It came with ArtRage which is a lot of fun. I am not going to abandon drawing on paper with pens just yet. I feel my style does change a little, as I’m drawing a little smaller on the tablet, and the feel of the stylus on glass is a LOT different than pen on paper.
But the tablet did inspire me to “upgrade” what I was doing for my usual work. I liked coloring with the stylus, and until then I was still use a mouse with photoshop. So I bought a Wacom and I started using Corel. ArtRage made me want to blend the colors more, and to have more of a brush, oil, watercolor, look that photoshop can’t provide. I couldn’t use ArtRage for my usual work because I can’t format the files for newspaper use.
I’m not good at new tech, but I was really proud of myself to figure out how to use Corel the way I needed. Their forums weren’t helpful at all. ArtRage forums are even worse.
I’ve been using Corel for about a month now. You may not notice much of a difference, but it’s there.

If I just read the cartoon, it is about what Mr. Cruz has said, and how he said it. It looks about right to me, right down to the facial expression.

@Ricardo Flores, I read the cartoon with the creep just being a creep. I didn’t interpret any correlation of transgender as perverted.

having transgender rest rooms is an open invitation to perverts.

I must be dense; I assumed the pervert was Denny Hastert, and cruz was helping him out.
