Closest I got to #8244 was when I got a check for the deductible on my auto insurance policy after some guy turned into me and caused a wreck. But since I was forced to file against my own insurance because it was a he-said-she-said kind of wreck, they raised my rates; so I dropped them. The deductible check came after an arbitrator decided the other guy was at fault — on the day my new insurance took effect.
