“In matters of style, swim with the current. In matters of principle, stand like a rock.” – Thomas JeffersonTrump’s positions should be outraging conservative voters, but with his conservatism of convenience he just ignores his more liberal positions that he has always supported.

In Nevada, the Republican candidates, even Kasich, are literally supporting selling off at better than bargain prices the Public Lands, or giving them away for free to their friends. These are lands that NEVER BELONGED TO THE STATES! They could, if managed at fair market instead of Congressionally mandated leasing fees, pay off the national debt in two years, and continue to profit taxpayers for the next century. Instead these “fiscal conservatives” want to lay waste to our greatest potential profit machine, used currently by the folks out for recreation, hunting, or gee, water and other benefits, privatizing, and keeping the current owners, the taxpayers, out of luck.

The gop has succeeded in demonizing the very word “socialism”.When you ask people about individual socialist programs without the word, most (including republicans) are in favor of them.

@Kaffekup…..Question for you.Where do most immigrants (legal and illegal) come from?IMO, countries that adopted one or another form of Socialism, that has proven, like Cuba, Venezuela, etal, they cannot survive centuries, as the USA had until too many leftist teachers began the socialism brainwashing, by allowing free people with a free system to produce and maintain a prosperous society.-Socialist States do produce people who try to leave for better places to live.

@nance….how many times do we have to repeat Margaret Thatcher’s reply to your defense of Socialism?-Socialist nations do come to the time when they RUN OUT OF OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY….(and then the “benefits” of something for nothing disappear….as in Cuba and Venezuela today.) -

A “list” is like a snapshot of conditions months ago. It is used to reassure people who begin to see real problems and the new “share the poverty” economies.
