To be honest, not sure what this cartoon is about. Seems like easy yankee bashing. Gomez is satirising the US response to Zika? Pois, meu bem, acho melhor apontares a tua mira para o teu próprio governo…Seems a distraction away from Rio’s Olympic hassles with the Zika issue adding more pressure on it.
I went along to A Tarde‘s website, searched for “EUA Zika” but although with just a cursory glance over their articles, I didn’t find any negative reporting as regards the USA & Zika.In fact:
Brasil e EUA planejam vacina contra zika; OMS teme a proliferação do vírus
Brazil and USA plan Zika vaccine; WHO fears proliferation of the virus.
