Don’t forget the ‘Blathering Bernie’ doll: “Higher taxes will help everyone”“Let the government make all of your decisions for you”“Someone else is to blame for all of your problems”
Libertarians remind me of academic Communists in the 1930s. Both have a highly simplistic idea of a perfect government. Ask them to give an example of anywhere it worked it practice, and they can’t. Point out to them countries where it’s been tried (all of which look like hell-holes — East Germany, Somalia), and they say “Oh, it just wasn’t done right there. If I were in charge, it would be done right.” Our system works pretty well. Don’t vote for people vowing to take America down.
JmcaRiceLike when I landed in Canada: 20% higher taxes. 50% more for them. I have lived under democratic socialism and don’t fear it. I made more money in real net buying power than I ever did, before or since, and had a higher standard of living as well.
I do believe it’s the Wasilla Whacko. It’s also interesting how Soros, with about 10% the wealth of the Kochs, who contributes far less to politics, and a lot more toward improving conditions for folks around the world, is the teabag whipping boy. And Marco is inadequate, and though not quite as crazy as Cruz, still thinks Cuba under Batista is a good model for the US.
But them Wimmins and Dark skinned people wouldn’t be so “Uppity” anymore.It’d be Perfect like it was back in the Good Old 1840s when Ammurikkka was Great..{Snark OFF}
If you pull the string on Rubio’s back he’ll say one of several random canned phrases. this toon is very appropriate – the primitive doll would spew some banal statement when called upon to speak. Meanwhile we live in the world of smartphones that can hold an almost intelligent conversation with you. After watching Rubio’s constant repetition of his line – much like the child’s toy – every time the string was pulled makes me think Rubio is almost done.
“Soros got $2 billion in Stimulus money in 2009”This is the type of moronic claim you hear from right wing “entertainers”. Anyone who cares to think for themselves can quickly discover it’s pure bullhockey.The Import-Export bank lent $2 billion to Petrobras, a Brazilian oil company, to purchase American made equipment & services. The Ex-Im Board that approved the loan were all GW Bush appointees. Soros actually reduced his holdings in Petrobras before the loan was made. You need to turn off the radio & stop making posts that have no basis in reality.
