If the militia were well regulated it would be constitutional. Still nutty, but constitutional. I’d love to see all gun owners forced to join a well regulated militia as the only way to keep their guns. Other than joining a well regulated militia, there should be no way to own a gun. Santa Claus and unicorns are also high on my list…
Do what Switzerland does. They maintain a ‘well regulated’ militia that is allowed to keep their issued weapons at home.So come on ‘not so well regulated’ militias, join the Army.
The comment by StCleve72 made me think of the comment made by Judi Dench when she played M in one of the Bond movies when the general said she didn’t have the b***s to do the job and her response was something along the lines of “I also don’t have to think with them.”
