    Reminds me of Dolly Parton’s take on the matter. She said she wasn’t offended by the dumb blonde jokes because she knew she wasn’t dumb and she also knew she wasn’t blonde!

    Calling a red-head ginger is not derogatory. British use that word instead of red-head.

    Hmm….is ‘ginger’ pejorative? I never thought it was so bad, although I see that it’s not usually used as a complement in the Harry Potter books.

    And I gotta wonder, have the girls always dyed their hair? Or have they been referred to as ‘dumb blonde’ recently (other than by us, of course)?
