Everyone should be up in arms about the price of a cup of coffee there, not the cup. Who care what the cup looks like – you are just going to throw it in the trash when you are done.
One goofy guy pretends to be angry about ridiculous things and posts them on social media to create a frenzy and we get this. The goof must be some kind of evil genius to get people riled up enough to make THIS an issue. No one is declaring a war on Christmas, or trying to take it away from anyone who celebrates.
