I think we should have a national id card. Its given to all US citizens when you turn 18. I also hate carrying my identification people should just trust me on sight and cash checks and take credit cards without checking my photo and signature. I mean it’s racist for liquor stores, gaming establishments and bars to make me prove I’m allowed to participate in any drinking, gambling or smoking.
Voter ID fraud is tracked and documented. The facts are ID fraud is a non-problem. When states start passing laws to control a rampant “non-problem” it is obvious they are simply trying to hijack the vote legally. Clearly they ate not committed to a democratic process.
I always find something worth voting on even if I don’t like candidates for mayor, gov.ernor, senator, or reps. positions. There’s always various measures or smaller positions to vote on. This year I’ll vote for schoolboard spots because all the candidates for mayor are scum.
Nothing says Democracy like mandatory voting. If you have to be coerced to vote and you are ignorant of the issues, please stay home. Further, the voting age should be 25 or until you have worked your first job for a year, whichever comes last.
