As the population rises, and demands for services and amenities rises, and inflation continiues-even at lower rates, and the richest pay less in taxes with every “conservative” proposal that also includes increased spending on “defense”, can anyone identify why spending and debt, mostly paying off interest to U.S. corporations and banks (who borrowed the money from the fed at zero interest in the first place) rises??

You’re being very naive and simplistic. Certain items in the budget increase, others decrease. For instance, the GOP has cut the IRS enforcement arm’s share of the budget by over 30% in recent years, which vastly increases cheating and causes deficits of over ten times what it saves. Since most people with jobs can’t easily cheat on taxes, this disproportionally benefits rich tax cheats, so it’s obvious why the GOP supports such a policy.
