Clothing; Irving will bring little of, electronic gadgets on the other hand will be more than all of Cathy’s clothing & shoes put together!

A weekend? All this agony of ticket prices for just a weekend?

The story arc took 4 times longer than the whole trip!

DING! Those of you holding Tuesday, July 6 in the “When Will Cathy First Start Obsessing About Shoes” pool, visit the cartoonist’s website to collect your prize.

Fearless prediction: Cathy will take a dozen pair of shoes with her, end up wearing none of them, and buy several more pair on the trip… which she will also never wear.

‘Weeklong’ not weekend… but makes little difference. Irving would still need every gadget and Cathy wouldn’t know which clothes/shoes she’d actually need.

I have a wonderful wife. She doesn’t obsess over clothes and shoes, yet, she manages to dress well and appropriately for every occasion. I guess I’m about the luckiest guy around.

Remember, Cathy, the less clothes you bring, the less time it will take you to decide what to wear while on vacation.

    LOL, puddleglum1066!!

I always planned ahead and selected separates that combined well (especially if the events were scheduled, or a business trip with just my own choice of evenings out). If it is a family trip it’s more difficult, as I don’t know what will be decided. Now that I have experienced MORE lost and damaged luggage, I’d rather just ship it ahead (as I often did with my folding birdcage).
