Good Heavens! Another usually and totally anti president Obama editorial cartoonist that is even somewhat negative on the present Republican situation in the House of Representatives. Just what is the tea party ultra conservative world coming to??
One GOP Representative suggested that any candidate for the party’s leadership who has committed any “misdeeds” since being elected to the house should step down, which means that the house will need to go speaker-less for the first time in history, sparking a constitutional crisis. I suppose on an interim basis they could borrow a speaker from the Democrats until they can get their feces together?
I am beginning to wonder if the House will ever get their act together. The Tea Party extremists are not willing to compromise or even consider all of the moderate conservatives who would just like their government to begin working again. It is all or nothing for the Tea Party and they apparently don’t give a hoot about the rest of us.
“We need more Tea Party types to slash the size of government.”What do you propose be slashed by hundreds of billions, that will not jeopardize our national security or cause incredible misery?
Boehner proved his personal power agenda by assuming he could choose his hand-picked CLONE McCarthy for a successor!-The GOP establishment needs to examine themselves and change their agenda to fulfilling the oaths they swore when they took office by promises to the voters who expected them to be faithful and to strive to truly SERVE THE PEOPLE.
