The US knew the hospital’s coordinates. Doctors Without Borders also informed US that there were no Taliban there..If it wasn’t deliberate, someone failed to do their job and cross reference the location, costing doctors’ and patients’ lives and our good name.
I would like to try to make sense of this. To the best of my knowledge, the US Military has no beef with Doctors Without Borders. They have coordinated their activities successfully for many years. I know of no reason why the Air Force would want to bomb them. Having said that, it is a huge and horrifying action that cost innocent lives. We have as a military screwed up many times, killing thousands of innocents over the years. I am not sure, however, what we can do except investigate and bring to account those who either intentionally or mistakenly caused this bombing. For the most part, I can’t think of what the US could possibly gain from such a bombing, so I’m inclined to think it was really poor coordination (which has been a serious issue in the military).
Well, now the Russians have plunked four cruise missiles down in Iran, kinda like when Bush had at least one aimed at Bagdhad, land in Saudi Arabia. Ah, those highly accurae weapons!

One more cartoonist with moral courage enough to admit the bombing happened! Wow.

The “accident” was bad enough. Worse is military’s manner & way of “explaining it”

Some jerks are actually blaming the President for the bombing. Unreal. I think they narrowed it down to some field unit which made the error.
