Delusional. Boehner was about as good a member of the GOP as this White House could hope for. He promised the American people that he would pass a real budget this year. Then, he quits, and we get another continuing resolution.
It’s gonna take a LOT more than his departure to turn things around in that city, if it is still possible to do so. The animosities, greed, corruption and ignorance which reigns within the Belt is so deeply-rooted………can any single man or woman stand up and lead us out of this?
Remember, Boehner thought it was just swell to hand out tobacco lobbyists checks on the floor of Congress.
His greatest accomplishment as Speaker was remaining Speaker. I guess grading on the curve, he gets a C-, since he was never indicted nor ousted by the House.
