Oh, this one’s easy. “Deez Nutz” is a fifteen-year-old kid from Iowa who filled out the paperwork to run for president. (Surprisingly, the paperwork doesn’t ask about whether you’re old enough to BE president.) Almost as a joke, one of the polling companies has included his name among the GOP candidates. Since GOP voters are not serious people, Deez Nuts has been out-polling most of the real candidates, including Rand Paul. A more serious problem for Rand, though, is that to continue his hopeless quest to be president, he’ll have to give only a half-assed attempt to keep his senate seat in Kentucky. The GOP shot themselves in the foot (when will they every learn!) yesterday by letting Rand give it a try, when they easily could have blocked it. So once he fails to get any primaries, they’ll have a candidate for senate who won’t have even started campaigning for senate until some time next year. He also won’t have ACCOMPLISHED anything in the senate, but that’s a plus in the anti-competence party.
