OH COME ON. It was Bush who cut and changed how the numbers were counted, Obama stopped that.

The economy is recovering, jobs are on the rise, and have been rising since Bush left, but Bush and the GOP made such a mess, and destroyed so many jobs, it will take years to fix, meanwhile the GOP is using the mess they created to attack Obama.

If you are unhappy about the economy, and the lack of jobs DON’T BRING BACK THE VERY PEOPLE WHO MADE THE MESS!

In the past 2 years the GOP has offered no plans, ideas, or programs to increase employement, and even in this election year they have said nothing, and nothing is what they plan to do about this.

So, how are the trillion+ ‘stimulus’ hoaxes working out for you?

We are not likely to see a significant production of wealth producing jobs - private economy, until the role of the Federal Government is reset to manageable level.

In the last 10-12 years we’ve had (dot)Com and Housing. The next big thing is right around the corner.

If someone can’t find a job to tie them over (or if they spent 30 years in a specialist field that is no more) it is their problem - not a political party’s.

Trillion+, eh? Riiight. Otherwise, not too good, but could be worse - it was responsible for slightly under 700000 jobs, the CBO said. (http://cboblog.cbo.gov/?p=967) . Of course, pundit soundbytes may differ, due to their superior knowledge.

Unemployment would probably not be up nearly as high as it is, if we were using Bush’s unemployment metrics. ;)

And trickle-down economics totally work. That’s why the middle class’s wages have stagnated while CEOs are making orders of magnitude more than their workers. Sure, the 5% who have sucked up the vast majority of the country’s wealth are doing pretty well, but the real workers are fairing no better than they were 10 years ago, in fact they’re doing far worse. But that top 5% really needs help guys! I certainly hope they’ll invest in jobs over here and not overseas, right, right?

Who stimulates the economy more, I wonder, 100 people who get a $1000 raise, or a CEO who gets an additional $1 million and tosses it into an overseas bank account and then fires those 100 people when times get tough instead of taking a pay cut?

I am back for but a moment….Ken…..er…….President Bush is NO LONGER PRESIDENT! …and with due respect for the current President…..he has done NOTHING to change the perception of the imperial and impervious presidency….so hop back into your box with your incoherent, and baseless ramblings……for you to fulfill my wishes…THAT is CHANGE I can embrace!

“Why are all his Dem buddies avoiding him like the plague; hoping he will not set foot inside their electorate areas?”

They’re scared of the Tea Partiers and “anti-incumbent” sentiment. (Just figured I’d toss some reality in there.)

Unfortunately, like the Tea Parties themselves, they think the misinformed, bigoted views of the Tea Parties carry far much more weight than they should for such a fringe minority.

Obama stimulus money kept me from being laid off in December of 2008, it’s helped my wife and me move to another job in a different part of the country, and it’s helped us buy a house here. Without the stimulus money, I would have been collecting unemployment.

If someone takes your car and smashes it into a tree, then walks away, and, after spending a lot of time and money, the car still isn’t running you have every right to be mad at him, and blame him even if he has left the scene.

Bush wrecked the Country and the economy, we are spending billions on his wars, and, after great effort by Obama and the DEMS, things are getting better, but it is through no thanks to Bush and the GOP.

Bush lied to you, spied on you, wasted your money, your savings, and many, many American lives, and you feel no anger?

Maybe the truth is the only thing you care about is getting the GOP back into power so they can finish the job of destroying the Country.
