Cor blimey. She’s dominating the ‘toons for sure, especially by the conservative types. I thought she was well liked (afaik from what I have heard of her in your White House press briefings). The liberals a little too shocked, perhaps? Disappointment is too much?
Nothing about semantics or Semites- you don’t cross AIPAC! Think about how many defense contracts we wouldn’t need, if we couldn’t keep people worked up about their oil supplies.
Tacky indeed. A great woman who spoke her mind was silenced, for a personal statement, and THAT seems to violate some principle I’ve heard of , oh yes, that silly old First Amendment—up in flames.
trout, with all due respect do you really have any idea whatsoever what the 1st amendment actually says? You really shouldn’t discuss a subject of which you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
Suggest, sit down, open up the Bill of Rights and actually read it. When you show total ignorance about a subject you wish to discuss how can anyone listen to anything you say?

^We listen to your babble all the time. How is her comment any different from yelling “fire” at a crowded theater or threatening a person?

What is wrong with yelling fire at a crowded theater? Not illegal and no 1st A problem.
You seem to be joining Trout with absolutely no concept of what the 1st amendment actually says or means.
