I had a room mate who worked at a local restaurant in Tallahassee when we were at university back in the ‘80s and he said on late nights (any night really but particularly a Friday or Saturday night after the bars closed) you’d get some interesting characters come into the place. Some would want pizza with the "real " shrooms or hemp, others could not understand why they could not get a pitcher of beer with their wings (after 2 AM alcohol sales stopped except for private clubs), occasionally someone passed out in a booth, an occasion kid took a ride on the “vomit rockit” etc….. However he said the tips left for the servers were actually pretty good on average but he was quite happy to quit that job and move on to Ruby Tuesdays in the local mall.
