I had a Pinto stationwagon. It had a four speed stick, got around 25 mpg and was a blast to drive. I finally gave it to my younger sister who had it until after she married and her husband complained about them being a death trap. She divorced him about 5 years later and still says that she wished she had kept the Pinto and gotten rid of him sooner.
