Holy….Lester actually thinks Trump has something worthwhile to say! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Yeah, Les, the sooner Trump shuffles off (he aint) you might, just might get more who are gonna care what you may have to say about Hillary Clinton. But coming from you, it’s no different to Trump’s nonsense.

“the left does not care”I can’t speak for “the left” as a whole, but I am looking at Trump’s poll numbers & feeling vindicated in my belief that at least 20% of the GOP base are racist lunatics that any candidate must mollify.Schadenfreude? You betcha! ;^)

So did Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney and they had the computers and servers destroyed to boot. Colin Powell never saved any emails and Condy Rice burned memos. The right didn’t care.

sometimes I just make my point without referring directly to the post I’m answering, so as not to get into a pointless argument. And I try not to reply when someone is just being oppositional. By the way, it’s good to hear from you. How are things?

Certainly we’re heard them cry wolf a lot. I don’t expect anything nefarious to turn up, perhaps something careless, probably not even that, but I will wait to see what the evidence says. So far nothing has stuck, despite all attempts. But I still don’t much like Mrs. Clinton, and I wish the Democrats could run Obama again. I like Sanders fine, but he’s unlikely to win a general election. Politics is the art of the possible. (And it’s our job as citizens to make good thing be possible.)

Here’s a story about a President and classified information. This took place back in 61 or 62. Kennedy was holding a press conference, this was during the time when the US and the Soviets were heading towards the test ban treaty, and some question came up about US testing. Kennedy had expected the question, and he had been briefed on the details of the testing and on what was publicly known and what wasn’t. The person who briefed him was my father. Anyway, when he answered the question, he mentioned the number of tests that had been conducted by the US, but instead of the publicly known number, he gave the real number. (Or actually, one of the real numbers; the answer, as my father told me, depended on certain classes of tests, and which you counted, but you get the idea.) So the number Kennedy gave was about a dozen higher than what had been released. My father was at the press conference and he nearly had a heart attack. Then they had to decide what to do; should they say that President was wrong, that he had made a mistake, or should they fess up to the higher number. After a hurried consultation, they decided to go with the number Kennedy had said, so they had to rush out the information about the additional tests. So that’s what happens when the President accidentally releases classified information. Well, that time, anyway.

No, he didn’t gossip. I do know that he didn’t like working for Kennedy, because Kennedy had a habit of sticking his nose into things that should have been left to subordinates. My father much preferred working for Eisenhower, who trusted people to do their jobs. He preferred Kennedy’s politics, but not his management style. Shortly after Johnson became President, he left government service entirely.

My apologies festin, I really don’t have an opinion on Clinton as I have no say in the matter.I’ll only become interested, as I have before as regards US elections, when the final candidates debate foreign policies as then they may affect me since the US tends to throw its weight around globally. Witness the results of GWBush’s warped ME policies in the early noughties and today’s conflicts. Nevermind how they’re affecting me right now (i.e. personal security, freedoms etc), witness the effects of failed policies over a decade ago in the ME affecting its peoples now.Obama’s policies as regards drone warfare troubles me a whole lot but his Cuban & Iranian talks are positive. I’m following his African tour with some interest since I’m African. To be honest, from what I have managed to gather, I’m not so sure I’d be very happy with Clinton’s foreign policies either should she win your presidential elections.

But right now, your nomination contests are simply entertainment for me. Since I come along to this website, I tend to be drawn into some of the common themes which are not only US related; but sometimes, if it’s with regards the entertaining candidates, I’ll have a laugh and may comment as well.

As regards my strong comments on the cartoons relating to the Sandra Bland and McKinley cases in Texas, my interest comes from my own experiences with the police in South Africa pre 1987 (observational), and a couple of interventions I’ve had personally with police in Portugal. My grandfather, by the way, was a police officer in Portugal. I didn’t quite like his attitudes either, very much remisniscent of the likes of Enicinia & Casebolt. So, to actually address your question… I cannot as I have no idea what her ideas are as regards your criminal justice system.
