There’s no clown car that can handle this. They’re going to have to get a clown bus. Better yet, just put the names of all registered Republican voters in a hat and draw one to be the nominee. I know about 20 Republicans and most of them are more plausible candidates than anyone who is running.

So far, this is probably the most unenthusiastic presidential race ever, with no candidates generating much enthusiasm at all — except for that one.
