Exactly correct toon, looters don’t give a rip, or have a “cause”, they’re just stealing ’cause the opportunity is presented and publicized in the media..
BTW: they’re just now talking about a Gray autopsy result being released. From the video I watched (as an EMT) the head droop and foot drop as he was being carted off indicated he very likely broke his neck BEFORE any of the video started, and yes, poor handling by the police in not calling an ambulance immediately very like DID contribute to his spinal injury becoming more severe, and fatal.
Which, had a guy in a fall who had severe neck injury, and mid-spine. We treated him on a ledge on a cliff 1,000 feet up, not on a city street. WE handled it correctly, and a year later he was completely recovered, not paralysis or permanent damage. Also treated same injuriies in numerous car accidents/motorcycle accidents, again, properly handled in the field and treated, recovery was the end result.
The two critical questions: 1. Mechanism of injury and 2. assessment and stabilization of the PATIENT, not “perp”.
