Listen, we live in a really quiet neighborhood and we have an excellent police force — very responsive, polite, diversity-aware. Why not schlep the President and his family over here, very quietly, and let the nutjobs invade the White House and grounds to their hearts’ content for the next few months. POTUS can Skype his meetings; the Secret Service can use the continuous invasion as (badly needed) training exercises….it’ll all be good. Only thing is, no Marine One. Neighbors would notice.
Sorry, but I’ll repeat this: What Homeland Secuirty, and the Secret Service, don’t broadcast, is all the “threat potentials” they know about, but can’t do a bloody thing about, is a pretty long list. Interesting all the folks saying these “failures” tell ISIL or others how to attack, don’t realize it’s exactly why the agencies DO NOT, make public all those potential threats.
