    It’s not every neighborhood that has a parasitic flatworm as the Welcome Wagon hostess.

    My diet isn’t working. Where do I get a tapeworm? The doctors? Or can I just go to Sam & Ella’s. MY love is a great cook, but a tapeworm is forever.

    An umbilical cord and a sperm?

    What’s the gag, that the sperm has poor sight? Or is dumb?

    @Joe-Allen “Joe” Doty

    This cartoon, like every Argyle Sweater cartoon, passed muster with hundreds of newspaper editors across the country, including my local paper.

    The same is true for most (but not all) cartoons that appear on this site - the distribution syndicate has to approve it (or at least not disapprove it), and the editors for the paper the cartoon appears in have to approve it, or at least not disapprove it.

    What make you feel you have the power to decide what I and thousands, if not tens of thousands, of adults can see? Who appointed you the Internet Censor?

    You don’t like something? Fine. Don’t look at it. But don’t tell me I shouldn’t look at it either.

    It’s just a crossover from the old “Timmy the Tapeworm” comic that I loved as a child.

    Timmy’s not offensive, he’s a classic!
