    Dana’s depiction here is actually quite accurate! There are MANY vacant storefronts and homes which are blocked by 5-10 feet of snow. Not just snow plows, but front-end loaders are still a common sight as they literally are trying to dis-inter many cars , buildings and fire-hydrants! We’re STILL removing snow from the last storm, and don’t really have anyplace to put more snow!

    Send that my way you moron! Three years of drought here, no snow, meaning NO WATER and all these easterners can do is whine about what’s actually a normal winter for a decade ago. That single storms there ar more severe (annual amounts haven’t change much), is just climate change, occurring because of human activity, and doing exactly what models predicted as more data was acquired, and laws that changed things in the 70’s are now being ignored.

    WOW, just saw that the refinery near my sister’s old house just had an explosion, another of those southern California refineries some folks have said didn’t exist, even though they’ve been there since just after WW II!
